Winter Sing-Along with Families

On Wednesday night at St. James Community Centre, Pear Tree Elementary students and families came together for a winter sing-along.
The night included a dance performance that the older students have been preparing for since September; the younger kids performed some classic Xmas music; and the night finished with a family sing along.
As part of the event, Pear Tree’s students made buoys to sell in order to raise money for the Living Oceans Society http://www.livingoceans.org/. The money will be used to organise shore clean ups.
