This is what project-based learning in action looks like at Pear Tree School!

Notice Pear Tree’s progressive approach: everyone is focused, engaged, and hard at work; students are free to work at a table or on the floor, in the classroom or in the corridor; they work both in groups and independently; they use a wide variety of materials and technological tools; and teachers act as mentors and facilitators. A lot of learning (academic and socio-emotional) comes out of this.
